At least 2158 children, including 18 girls of four to 18-year of age will celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr in prisons of Punjab province. According to report received here on Thursday 17 children have grown up in jail premises and now they are of 18 to 21 years age and they have been waiting for the decision about their destiny.

There are 17 condemned prisoners, 1793 under trial prisoners and 348 were sentenced in different cases, said Deputy Inspector General of Prisons Southern Punjab, while talking to reporters.
